Sharing is caring! 😁
I have been parusing Blogs, Instagrams, Pinterest, you name it for the inspiration to decorate our home this year using Blush and Navy Christmas Decor. If you read last year’s Merry and Bright Christmas home tour that I did with several other bloggers you’ll probably remember that I went with all traditional red and green colors. However, this year, I’ve been super excited about going in a completely different direction with all the pretties and focusing on Blush and Navy decorations. I’m slowly swapping out my old decorations for new cohesive stuff so that when it’s time to switch between seasons, it will be a much easier transition.
When it comes to home decor or DIY stuff I go to Pinterest. For health and wellness, recipes, cute outfit ideas…. Pinterest. Do you see where I’m going with this? It’s a wonderfully amazing place you can go to find quite a number of visual results when you run a search for something and clicking the link will take you back to the website it originated from. So naturally, I found the inspiration for my blush and navy Christmas decorations through Pinterest by searching for Blush and Navy Christmas , (HAHA! 😉) I will tell you that TONS of inspiration popped up! I don’t know about you, but when that happens to me, it gets my head going and thinking and trying to recreate something in my own style. Any way…. Without further ado, I am going to show you what my favorite inspirations have been for the season. Let’s get started!
Pink Peppermint Design offers such dainty and beautiful inspiration! Check out her post here. I LOVE the light and airy feel Tammy gives to her home. She keeps things so beautiful, but simple enough that its not overtaking her her entire living place.
Jenna from Jenna Kate At Home has so many drool worthy decor posts, I’m in awe! I stumbled upon her blog through (of course) Pinterest and her Pink Breast Cancer Awareness Christmas Tree Decor caught my eye! You can’t just stop there though, check out her other seasonal projects!
Do you decorate your bedroom for the holidays? After seeing Laura from Duke Manor Farm decorate her holiday bedroom using navy and blush with some butterflies popping out of the tree in random spots, I think it will be a regular occurrence at our house. I love soft colors and a quiet, relaxing spot to sit and read before bed. I desperately need some quiet beautiful space I can enjoy and right now, my bedroom is not even close to that yet 😆 but that’s a project for a later time.
If you have a comfortable sized entryway like Abby from Just a Girl and Her Blog then you’re going to LOVE the inspiration you get from her as she decorates her mudroom in GORGEOUS pastel colors! I am seriously loving the color palette she chose for this year’s Christmas decor because it flows very cohesively with her everyday decor. Kind of the way that I want to go with my home decor so I can use the same piece for multiple seasons.
Don’t leave her blog until you see her sunroom all decked out too. It offers the perfect inspiration for the Blush and Navy Christmas Decor theme I’m going for this year. 😁
I don’t know about you but after I’ve spent a few minutes (okay… more than a few minutes) browsing all the beautiful Christmas decorations I am so ready to jump in feet first and get started making my own home as beautiful as I can! I like to be as organized as possible when I tackle projects, even decorating ones! You can download the project planner that I use to keep myself on track below. 😁
I hope you have an absolutely wonderful holiday season!
