Hey, fam!

I am one of those people that is horrible at getting birthday, anniversary, or just cards, in general, out in time and am always embarrassed for being late. You too? That’s alright! I’ve got you on this.

Insert Basic Invites. To say they have gorgeous cards is an understatement. Their custom invitations range from small party invitations to stunning wedding invitations and everything in between. You’ll be scrolling and hopping around for hours if you’re anything like me and are drawn to all the pretty things. It’s a gorgeous rabbit hole to fall down. Okay, okay, okay, I’m steering away from what we really need to talk about. Birthdays. More important, remembering them and getting cards out to your loved ones ON TIME and not always late. ?

Before we go on, I HAVE to share some more info about the company and why I’ve recently become obsessed.

Almost Unlimited Colors- Basic Invite is one of the few websites that allows customers almost unlimited color options with instant previews online. Once you’ve selected a design, you have the ability to change the color of each element on the card. With over 180 colors to choose from, the invite is sure to be exactly how you want it. I have never seen another company that offers this, have you? It really is as customizable as you would like. The options are endless!

Custom Samples- Basic Invite is one of the few websites that allows it’s customers to order a printed sample of their actual invitation before the final order is placed. You can see the paper quality and how it will print, and make sure the card is perfect. What a huge money saver here! How many times have you ordered something similar online only to be disappointed in the quality once it’s arrived?

Over 40 Different Colors of Envelopes- Basic Invite has over 40 different envelope colors to choose from. With so many options, you can make their envelope match the invitation. All of the envelopes are peel and seal so they can be closed quickly and securely. I love this option. I don’t know about you, but I’m not a fan of licking envelopes. ?

Address Capturing Service- Basic Invite offers an address capturing service that allows you to share a link on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or any other social media to request their friends and family’s addresses. The addresses are stored in your account and can be selected during the design process. They also offer recipient address printing at no cost on all card orders; something I’ve always had to pay extra for anywhere else.

They have foil cards too which are available in gold, silver, and rose gold as well. You can choose flat or raised foil on all of Basic Invite’s foil designs. I love all the shiny things, so this is right up my alley. How about you?

I’m going to be 30 in March, and believe it or not, am excited to move on into the next decade of life. That said, the 30th birthday invitations make me want to have a party, something I never do. ? I mean look at this one! How adorable is that?! What an awesome theme to have for my birthday! An ice cream social sounds like a very fun way to celebrate!

And this baby shower one? Oh my goodness! It’s so cute! I just can’t handle it! ?

Invites - Floral and Navy Baby Shower

Okay, if I keep scrolling through the options on the Basic Invite website I will fall down the rabbit hole, like I always do when I find so many different pretties!

In order to achieve my goal next year of always being on time with my cards, I will be preordering all of the cards I’m certain I will need for next year. When the cards come in, I will organize them by adding them to my planner at the beginning of each month with a couple of binder clips. When it’s time to send them out, I can then pull the cards out, fill them in, and send them off within the first week of each month. This will help to ensure that all the cards I send out into the world will arrive either early or on time at the very least.

I can’t let you move on just yet. You need to go visit their social media channels so you can fall in love just like me!

You can find Basic Invites on Facebook , Pinterest , Instagram , and Twitter with the handle @basicinvites. You won’t be disappointed!

How do you stay on track with simple things like sending cards out to friends and family? Do you have a better way of making sure you’re always on top of things? Let me know in the comments.

Talk soon!
